David Lehr spent the first 13 years of his career with the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, where he developed substantial courtroom skills. He was appointed Deputy District Attorney in 1993 and earned recognition as Outstanding Team Prosecutor in 2006. He brought 99 jury trials to verdict during his career as a prosecutor and resolved thousands of felony cases without going to trial.
Following his career as a Senior Deputy District Attorney, David Lehr decided to put his skills to use as a criminal defense attorney. His insights and experience as a prosecuting attorney give him a unique perspective on the law and the strategies used to bring suspected criminals to justice.

Criminal Defense Attorney
Ms. Rachel Coleman graduated with honors from Ventura College where she obtained her Associate Degree and then received her Juris Doctorate from the Ventura College of Law. During law school, Ms. Coleman participated in the Certified Law Student program through the State Bar, which allowed her to make court appearances and attend depositions under the supervision of a managing attorney.
Ms. Coleman also acted as the Student Bar President and the Dean of Delta Theta Phi. During her first two years of practice, Ms. Coleman litigated a wide variety of civil matters including personal injury, business disputes involving contracts, employment, and real property with the firm DK Law Group.
Currently, Ms. Coleman practices as a criminal defense attorney with the Law Offices of David Lehr, Inc. litigating all criminal matters including DUI’s, drug sales and possession, under the influence, violation of probation, domestic violence, and weapons charges. She joined the firm in August 2012.
Ms. Coleman is the Vice-President of the Ventura County Barristers. She also sits on the editorial board of the Ventura County Bar Association magazine, Citations, and is a board member of the Ventura County Bar Association.
As a member of the editorial board of Citations, she has published several judicial profiles. She is also a member of the Jerome H. Berenson Chapter of Inns of Court. Ms. Coleman is also an active alumna of the Ventura College of Law. In her spare time, she is also an instructor for the UCSB Extension Paralegal Program.
